These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Brandlance ("Brandlance", "we", "us" or "our") and govern your access to and use of the Brandlance mobile application and related services (the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract. You must complete any identity verification (KYC) we require and provide accurate, current and complete information. We may refuse, suspend or limit access where verification fails or where required by law.
2. Your Account
- You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- Enable two-factor authentication and notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
- One person may hold one account unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- You agree not to share, sell or transfer your account.
3. The Services
Brandlance lets you, among other things:
- Trade crypto & gift cards — buy and sell supported cryptocurrencies and gift cards at displayed rates.
- Shop gadgets — purchase devices and accessories through our marketplace.
- Pay bills — buy airtime and data, and pay for cable TV, electricity and other utilities.
Rates, availability and supported assets or billers may change at any time. A transaction is final once confirmed, except as required by law or expressly stated in these Terms.
4. Fees & Rates
Applicable fees, spreads and exchange rates are shown before you confirm a transaction. You authorise us (and our payment partners) to deduct amounts due for the transactions you initiate. You are responsible for any third-party network, bank or carrier charges.
5. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the Services to:
- Break any law or facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud or sanctions evasion.
- Use stolen funds, cards, gift cards or another person's identity.
- Interfere with, reverse-engineer, scrape or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services.
- Provide false information or engage in market manipulation or abusive activity.
We may suspend or close accounts, reverse transactions and report activity to authorities where we suspect a breach.

7. Gift Cards, Gadgets & Orders
Gift cards must be valid, legally obtained and accurately described; we may verify cards before settlement. Gadget orders are subject to availability, pricing accuracy and our delivery and returns terms shown at checkout. We may cancel and refund an order affected by pricing errors or stock issues.
8. Intellectual Property
The Services, including all software, content, trademarks and logos, are owned by Brandlance or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for personal, lawful purposes. You may not copy, modify or distribute any part of the Services without our permission.
9. Suspension & Termination
You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time (see Account Deletion). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, where required by law, or to protect users and the platform. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
10. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or that rates shown reflect any particular market.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brandlance and its officers, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to us for the transaction giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Brandlance harmless from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You agree to first contact us to resolve any dispute informally. Where that fails, disputes will be subject to the competent courts of Nigeria, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you have under applicable law.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice through the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
